Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ticket Timeline mobile or web application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ticket Timeline LLC ("Ticket Timeline," "we," "us," or "our").

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

Ticket Timeline provides a personal sports event archive that lets you:

• Log sporting events attended (NBA, MLB, etc.)
• Store tickets, photos, and notes
• View stats and insights
• Earn achievements
• Import event data (CSV, Sheets, OCR)
• Customize dashboard

3. User Accounts

3.1 Guest Access

• Use the App without an account
• Data tied to anonymous session
• Guest data retained up to 90 days
• May be deleted if no account is created

3.2 Registered Accounts

• Valid email required
• You are responsible for account security
• You are responsible for all activity
• Notify us of unauthorized access
• Guest data is merged upon signup

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts with false information.

3.4 One Account

Accounts are for individual use only. No sharing or duplication to bypass restrictions.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of your content.

4.2 License

You grant us a limited license to:

• Store and display your content
• Generate insights
• Create anonymized analytics
• Perform technical operations

This license exists only to operate the App.

4.3 Content Removal

• Delete individual items
• Delete all events
• Delete entire account

Deleted data may persist temporarily in backups.

4.4 Responsibility

• You own or have rights to your content
• No infringement of others' rights
• No illegal content

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Engage in illegal activity
• Violate others' rights
• Upload harmful or abusive content
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Disrupt the service
• Use bots or scraping
• Reverse engineer the App
• Use for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Circumvent security measures

6. Third-Party Data and Services

6.1 Sports Data

We display data from third-party providers (BallDontLie, RetroSheet, Baseball-Reference, Basketball-Reference). Accuracy is not guaranteed.

6.2 Services

• Supabase (backend)
• Google (Sheets, Maps)
• PostHog (analytics)
• OpenAI (OCR)
• Visual Crossing (weather)

Use of these services is subject to their terms.

6.3 Links

We are not responsible for third-party websites.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

The App and its content are owned by Ticket Timeline LLC.

7.2 Trademarks

"Ticket Timeline" and related branding are protected trademarks.

7.3 Third-Party Marks

Team names, logos, and venues belong to their respective owners.

7.4 Feedback

Feedback you provide may be used without restriction or compensation.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

• No guarantee of uninterrupted service
• No guarantee of accuracy (including sports data)
• No guarantee the App meets your needs

10. Limitation of Liability

• No liability for indirect or consequential damages
• No liability for loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• No liability for unauthorized access

Total liability is limited to the greater of:

• Amount paid in last 12 months, or
• $50 USD

Some jurisdictions may not allow these limits.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ticket Timeline from claims arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the App or delete your account at any time.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law
• We discontinue the App
• Your account is compromised

12.3 Effect

Use of the App ends immediately upon termination. Certain sections survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, United States.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

Contact us first at contact@tickettimeline.com and attempt resolution for 30 days.

14.2 Venue

Disputes will be handled in courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

14.3 Class Actions

No class action waiver is currently included.

15. General

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the full agreement.

15.2 Severability

If one provision is invalid, others remain in effect.

15.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce does not waive rights.

15.4 Assignment

You may not transfer your rights. We may.

15.5 No Third-Party Rights

No third-party beneficiaries are created.
