Ticket Timeline started in 2009, on the floor of my childhood bedroom, with a cigar box full of ticket stubs. I dumped them out, sorted them by date, team, and venue, and started organizing them the same way I used to organize sports cards as a kid. But as I laid them out, I realized something was missing. These weren’t just memories—they were data. I found myself asking questions I couldn’t answer: How many times did the Angels win when I was there? How many home runs had I seen? How many Hall of Fame players had I watched in person?
So I built the first version of Ticket Timeline in a spreadsheet—manually looking up every game, tracking wins and losses, and starting to uncover patterns in my own experiences. I tried for years to turn that into a real product, but the reality was simple: the data, tools, and infrastructure didn’t exist yet to do it right. The idea sat unfinished—but never forgotten.
Today, Ticket Timeline is finally what it was meant to be: a living, data-powered timeline of every event you’ve attended. It automatically connects your experiences to real stats, real context, and real insights—turning a pile of ticket stubs into something far more powerful: a personal dataset of your life in live events.
Helpful things to know before you start
Ticket Timeline is an app that helps you remember every game you’ve attended—and see your history as a fan in one place.
Instead of losing memories in your camera roll or old ticket stubs, you build a personal timeline of games, complete with scores, players, and standout moments. Over time, it becomes a living record of your sports life.
You can add games by searching for the matchup, date, or teams you remember. Even if you don’t have exact details, the app helps you find the right game.
If you have ticket stubs, screenshots, or even a spreadsheet, you can use those too—but they’re not required.
More than just a list of games.
Ticket Timeline shows you the story behind your fandom—like the players you’ve seen most, the best performances you witnessed live, and how rare or memorable each game was. It turns your past games into something you can actually explore and relive.
Ticket Timeline supports MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, and WNBA. Historical depth can vary by league and season because each sport has different data sources.
Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks unlimited timeline games across supported leagues. Purchases are handled through Apple in-app purchases—we do not sell event tickets or process ticket purchases for games.
We plan to offer Lifetime Pro as a one-time purchase and Annual Pro as a yearly subscription that auto-renews unless you cancel through your Apple ID settings. Prices shown in the App Store at checkout are what apply.
No. If you install the app through Apple TestFlight, in-app purchases use Apple’s sandbox for testing. Sandbox purchases do not charge real money. TestFlight subscription renewals may occur on an accelerated schedule for testing and do not carry over into production App Store purchases.
When Ticket Timeline is available on the public App Store, purchases use live Apple billing and the prices shown at checkout.
Not at all.
Whether you’ve been to 5 games or 500, Ticket Timeline is built to be simple and approachable. You don’t need to know stats or remember every detail—the app helps you fill in the gaps and makes it fun to look back.
